Once upon a suburban time... We had just purchased a brand new high efficiency washing machine and I was smitten. Until one fall morning standing on the soccer field, a light PNW mist started kissing the air and I caught the smell of mildew. It took a good minute for me to realize that funky mildew scent was ME. I politely shuffled to the end of the field to get a better view of my all star or maybe…to not die of embarrassment. Either way a seed was planted and the next chapter of my life unfolded.
